Elizabeth Darcy was awarded the Mary Ruchalski Award from St Agnes for emulating the kind student qualities Mary had. Meghan Mahar and Colin Cook were awarded the Mary Ruchalski RVC Lacrosse Award for emulating Mary's qualities of a fierce competitor and team player.
Rokus for In Patient Children for Christmas
We were happy to supply over 100 Rokus annually as Christmas presents for in patient children who will be spending Christmas in the hospital at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Serving Dinner at Ronald McDonald House
We are happy to serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House in New York City for a second year! Mary spent a few nights here while undergoing treatment and we are so grateful to give back to such a special place that allows families to be together during a difficult time.
Christmas Wrapping
Special thank you to the Kellenberg Dance Program who helped wrap this years Rokus! We can't wait to deliver these to the children in the hospital and give them a reason to smile!
Second Gingerbread House Decorating Event
We hosted our second Gingerbread House Decorating Event to the delight of 130 children! Santa paid a visit and read a story while children made crafts and gingerbreads. Thank you to Maggie Regan, New York Ravioli and Front Street Pizza for their generous donations!

These girls participated in the James Lodato Cure Childhood Cancer 5k, an awesome cause in loving memory of our friend James who was also treated for rhabdomyosarcoma at the same time as Mary .

Serving Dinner At the Ronald McDonald House
The foundation's first of many nights volunteering to serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House in New York City. The Ronald McDonald House provides housing for families who have a member undergoing treatment to ensure all families stay together. Mary spent a few nights here while she underwent treatment. It was just a great way to give back!
St. Agnes Medal of Service
Mary was award the St Agnes Medal of Service an honor of one individual from each parish in the Diocese of Rockville Centre who generously donates their time and talent to ministries and activities for the overall good of their worship communities. Mary was chosen as she effected so many during her time here with us.
The Mary Ruchalski Award- Sophia Paesano
The recipient of The Mary Ruchalski Award of St Agnes Cathedral School is awarded to a girl who displays Mary's characteristics of kindness, sportsmanship, and academic achievement. The first recipient of this award went to Sophia Paesano.

Christmas Gifts for In Patient Children 2018
It was such a pleasure delivering Christmas presents to the Ronald McDonald House and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center pediatric floor. With help from generous donations, we were able to purchase Roku remotes for all in patient children who are spending the holidays in the hospital. We were also able to present a check for rhabdomyosarcoma research to Mary's oncology team. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Team Elevate & The Mary Ruchalski Foundation gave out the first annual Mary Ruchalski Scholarship at their end of the season gala Wednesday night.
